Description: Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. You will design and deploy secure, resilient APIs and contribute to the architecture of a complex online banking platform.Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Developer job responsibilities include:Designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable REST APIs and microservices using Java EE and Spring Boot.Building and maintaining end-to-end features for the business banking platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.Contributing to solution architecture by creating clear, maintainable technical designs that account for dependencies, failure states, and long-term supportability.Participating in the migration of micro-applications to the Azure cloud platform and ensuring cloud-native best practices.Conducting code reviews, applying feedback, and enforcing engineering standards, compliance requirements, and security best practices.Collaborating with cross-functional teams-including Architecture, Product, and Engineering-to define requirements and support technical implementation approaches.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in Java EE, Spring Boot, and REST API design and development.Proven expertise in building secure, resilient microservices and API solutions with strong understanding of API security risks.Hands-on experience contributing to architecture, conducting code reviews, and supporting cloud migrations (Azure preferred).If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
